Printbill is available in a variety of forms for your convenience. For Debian users, an excellent Debian package (even if I do say so myself ;-) is available:

• Printbill for Debian Sid (unstable);
• Printbill for Debian Woody (stable).

Users of other Linux distributions, including Slackware and RedHat (and derivatives such as Mandrake and SuSE), as well as BSD-family and Solaris users should download the plain old .tar.gz, available here:

• Printbill tarball.

Should you be using anything other than Debian, please thoroughly read the documentation to learn how to build and install Printbill for your system. RedHat users may wish to try building an RPM using the supplied .spec file.

Printbill is known to work on Debian, Slackware, RedHat, Mandrake, SuSE, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and Solaris.
